About 2 minutes from our garden, you can drive to the Great Falls. Located on the Housatonic River, there are some short walking trails, a power plant below, and areas to canoe and kayak.
The drive from our garden to Lime Rock (there is a race track) is about 10 minutes, with nice river views. If you like, you can pull off the road to walk to the river. You may see fly fishing happening.
Up the the road from our garden, on Sugar Hill Road, you can drive up about a mile to follow the Appalacian Trail.
